Selon <a href=\"https:\/\/www.progressiverailroading.com\/bnsf_railway\/news\/Congestion-prompts-BNSF-to-limit-certain-California-bound-shipments--66885\">Progressive Railroading<\/a>, les vents violents, ajout\u00e9s aux graves inondations, ont entra\u00een\u00e9 un grave d\u00e9salignement des ressources et des volumes de fret. La BNSF est consciente que cet embargo temporaire aura un impact sur les utilisateurs du rail, mais elle sait aussi que la poursuite de la trajectoire actuelle pourrait avoir un impact encore plus important. Si un exp\u00e9diteur de marchandises s&#8217;abonnait aux donn\u00e9es de RailState, il recevrait des mises \u00e0 jour en temps r\u00e9el en cas d&#8217;avis de vent ou d&#8217;inondations. Ces mises \u00e0 jour permettraient \u00e0 l&#8217;exp\u00e9diteur de d\u00e9cider de maintenir le cap ou d&#8217;orienter ses prochaines exp\u00e9ditions vers un autre itin\u00e9raire ou une autre modalit\u00e9. Si l&#8217;embargo peut contribuer \u00e0 d\u00e9sengorger le r\u00e9seau, il ne se fera pas sans sacrifices pour certaines marchandises. L&#8217;objectif ultime est de permettre aux utilisateurs du rail de contr\u00f4ler la planification, avant que les choses ne soient tellement bloqu\u00e9es que des mesures s\u00e9v\u00e8res &#8211; comme un embargo &#8211; semblent \u00eatre la seule solution.
